The Aeration Membrane system is an exosuit upgrade.
Summary[ | ]
The Aeration Membrane system is a Stamina technology upgrade for the Exosuit.
Aeration Membranes increase a user's ability to swim underwater longer, and can be used alongside other Aeration Membrane upgrades.
Game Description[ | ]
User is able to swim underwater for extended periods.
Absorbs gases dissolved in water through a membrane contractor that, if user is of a conventionally structured species, is placed over the mouth or facial breathing hole.
Operates automatically once constructed within user's exosuit inventory.

Additional information[ | ]
- Aeration Membrane does not provide any adjacency bonuses to the Underwater Protection Modules, nor can any of the other hazard protection upgrades do the same. It does, however, share an adjacency bonus with the other hazard protection upgrades.

- Release - Added as a technology.
- NEXT - Removed from the game. If it was installed, it has turned into Obsolete Technology.
- Beyond - Reintroduced into game as its own tech.
