Map of United Federation of Travelers civilizations as of May 17th, created by the Free Folk of the Fringe.
Alliance of Galactic Travellers Euclid Outposts
As limited means of traveler interaction have become possible and pahefu of the Pilgrim Star introduced a navigation app, some zones of space have become loose confederacies and destinations for other travelers.
These amorphous zones of civilized space tend to be unified by a general shared purpose. Related gameplay tends to involve a mixture of fan-fiction and actual gameplay elements, with some civilizations focusing more on one or the other. In some rare cases, such as the Robber Barons Club, players are connected through accomplishments rather than location.
NMS Hubs are larger and more organized areas of civilized space, often governed by guidelines or customs such as naming guidelines. Currently, there is no more than one Hub per Quadrant in each galaxy:
- Alpha Quadrant - Amino Hub
- Beta Quadrant - Alliance of Galactic Travellers
- Delta Quadrant - Imperium Embassy Hub
- Gamma Quadrant - Galactic Hub
Alliances

As the number of civilizations has grown, some have banded together behind common goals and purposes.
- United Federation of Travelers - The Federation is an alliance of multiple civilizations dedicated to the Four Pillars of the Federation, "To document, aid, create, and communicate." First known alliance of multiple civilizations.
- Alliance of Galactic Travellers - AGT is a real world unincorporated association of Nomadic No Man's Sky players and multiple player civilizations that establish one embassy hub per galaxy and multiple outposts per galaxy to serve as navigational aids to Travellers. The Alliance currently has active members making discoveries and colonizing in every system between Euclid and Hyades Galaxy

- AAAM Expeditionary - Headquartered in Ocopadica, one system above the Pilgrim Star. An secretive splinter group of former iVc Project members.
- Amino Hub - located in Ocopadica, the same region occupied by the Pilgrim Star. This group was formed by members of the Galaxy Amino app.
- Galactic Network of Systems - a scattered union of systems concentrated near the Pilgrim Star, though not in the same region
- Pilgrim Star - referenced via the Pilgrim Star Process
Beta Quadrant
- Alliance of Galactic Travellers - AGT Euclid Embassy is located in the Keleibniug Mass region. Founded by members of the iVc Project, the Facebook Group No Man's Sky and the Facebook Group No Man's Sky Community.
- Geknip Gang Hub - A collection of PS4 players building bases in the Eveenskaiosk Boundary region in creative mode to make it easier to find and share base buildings and racetracks. Geknip Grand Prix coming soon. Discord Server for more information.
- Nofremy - a constellation of 5 star systems in the Irjortlah region
- SpyderWeb - small Civilized Space hub located a few dozen systems away from the AGT Euclid Embassy. Founded by Spyderwillster - The Left Paw.
Delta Quadrant
- Her Majesty's Empire of Sol - Also know as the Sol Empire, this realm is a loosely collected band of systems based out of the Loysteraatwi System in the Nobomedeye Terminus.
- Pathfinder Initiative Project- An AGT funded project based in the Solarion Imperium. Its goal is to catalog all Garden-Type Worlds in AGT Space as well as provide coordinates for future habitable planet/moon base settlements.
- Solarion Imperium - An ancient and powerful 1,000 year old empire located in The Koychylanh region in the Euclid Galaxy approximately 162,453 light years from the galactic center. The Imperium and her people, The Anunnaki zealously worship the Eternal Emperor who promises them a glorious afterlife upon his ascension as the God-King of The Euclid Galaxy. The hub star for this civilization is the Imperium Embassy Hub.
Gamma Quadrant
- Æther Mercenary Corps - a community of freelance Mercenaries based out of the Kawarazu System in the Yebdishtei Adjunct.
- Altera Confederation - a union of sovereign Systems based out of the Fokkolessla and Pihmidgerra regions. The main goal is to provide security for the systems under its control from the sentinel force and collaborate in gathering information about the universe.
- The Arcadia Project - this project seeks to explore and map the region of the Yokojulia Adjunct. The aim of the project is to find all suitable Garden Worlds within the region, and document them.
- Bez-Harr Concern - located in the Munsfelkha Band, this group is "concerned" with nearby space and seeks "amusement" from naming planets and creatures.
- Capital Triangle - the capitol region of the Sugaikinovi Fringe and four related sections
- Conure Republic - a civilization located in the Gohaiyulkuq Adjunct, founded after destroying the sentinels in this area
- Chrisubidon - team of PS4 users CrispyChrisu and ShinobidoN exploring the Ivjapendy Fringe while following the motto "Finding Better Worlds"
- Diplomatic Firegnome Empire - An ancient and very powerful alien race located in the heart of the Hub, who is here to protect all life in it, and keep peace and prosperity in the Hub.
- Discovery Coalition - an unofficial Faction Project based out of the Galactic Hub Project, containing four factions with different focused goals
- Euclidean Scholar's Society - an organization dedicated to the exploration and study of the star systems in the Euclid galaxy
- Free Folk of the Fringe - the society of the free people of the Ivjapendy Fringe
- Galactic Hub Project - an exploration-focused community with a high population of Interlopers. Initially covered the Rentocniijik Expanse before expanding into 10 other regions.
- Hlaalu Trading Company - a galactic conglomerate dedicated to furthering the wealth of all companies that belong to their members.
- InterGalactic Voyage Corridor - community-based effort to establish logistical support routes that assist players in their voyage to areas such as the Galactic Hub Project.
- Pandarian Empire - a Galactic Hub civilisation located in the Renbellanj Expanse
- Skaggerrak Refuge - a place of refuge in the Hubbleraco region where refugees are under "protection" and exchange of cannon and alternative lore is prized.
- The Wardens - a Scientific Directorate operating in the Woforssonsi Region.
- Trijen Collective - a technologically highly advanced civilization with greatly enhanced AI abilities.
- Yebdishtei Federation - one of numerous galactic federations, governed by an elected prime minister. Seeks to unify the Yebdishtei Adjunct under one common rule.
Other
- AAAM Expeditionary - The motto of the AAAM loosely translates to The Universe Has No Boundaries and the group works as a close ally with the Alliance of Galactic Travellers to push the boundaries of known galaxies.
- The Constitutional Monarchy of Yokoso - travelers and explorers who enjoy sharing their various findings with anyone that they come across
- Dandelion - a pre-Foundation constellation of 10 star systems in the Qomchubbo Cluster
- Galactic Empire of HOVA - A massive Empire spanning the entirety of the Euclid Galaxy with over 500 systems falling under the crown of Hov. The Empire of Hova is primarily located in the Galactic Iszmytrid Mass and Amino HUBs with its capitol system lying with the Galactic HUB region. The history of the Empire is shrouded in mystery but many Scholars across the galaxy are hard at work recovering the lost history of the Empire.
- Hlaalu Trading Company The Hlaalu Trading Company is a galactic conglomerate dedicated to furthering the wealth of all companies that belong to our members.
- Nesdorinux Project - seeks to explore and map out the region of the Euclid galaxy known as Nesdorinux.
- No Man's Sky Love - near the void at the Center of Euclid; this organization is not truly in any quadrant but between all four.
- Plamidian Empire - a group of 21 stars in the Poulwulus Adjunct tied into a loose empire
- Robber Barons Club - a loose confederacy of players who have discovered extremely large deposits of natural minerals, common, uncommon, and rare
- Wolfwater Republic - an an Independent Civilisation located in the Hudungandra Mass. It's aim is to explore and unite Systems into it's ranks, also protecting trade and freighters.
- The Vortex Club - a group of players who have discovered extremely large deposits of Vortex Clusters
- AGT Hilbert Embassy - The Alliance of Galactic Travellers hub in Hilbert Dimension
- Galactic Hub Hilbert - coordinates of the Galactic Hub in the Hilbert Dimension centred around the star cluster of the Gonyaypunin region.
- Hilbert Gathering - this area is found in the Hilbert Dimension galaxy where some players have settled their bases. It is located underneath the centre.
- AGT Calypso Embassy - The Alliance of Galactic Travellers hub in Calypso Galaxy
- AGT Hesperius Embassy - The Alliance of Galactic Travellers hub in Hesperius Dimension
- AGT Hyades Embassy - The Alliance of Galactic Travellers hub in Hyades Galaxy
- Calypso Travelers Foundation - known as CTF for short, this community is focused on exploring a specific area of the Calypso Galaxy with other players.
