Abyssal Horror is a creature.
Summary[ | ]
Abyssal Horror is a creature. It can appear when the player mines underwater flora or minerals. Stronger green versions are also found on Derelict Freighters.
Several (2-7) of them show up at the same time and they swim towards the player, but they can be easily avoided by moving away. If they are not killed, they will explode on contact, damaging the player.
Additional Information[ | ]
- The underwater flora or mineral does not need to be destroyed in order for the creature to appear; it can happen during the mining process.
- This creature does not drop any items when it is killed.
- Stronger, mutated versions are on some Derelict Freighters. These are green and pulsating, and deal more damage on contact and explosion.
- If the player moves to land, they will disappear.
- For missions, they count as animal kills but not predatory animal kills.
