Walkthrough[ | ]

Introduction[ | ]

Once an Agricultural Terminal has been constructed using the Build Menu, the player is directed to a Gek dominated system. They must travel to the system's local space station and find the Gek NPC to hire. After hiring them, they will then be told to return to their base. Upon speaking to the Farmer, the player will be given Gutrot Flower. As a note, the player does not need to wait for the mission plants to grow, they can use any stack of the required materials in this mission to give to the Farmer to advance forward. Access the build menu with Z if on PC, go into the Farming menu, then select and plant the Gutrot Flower.

Frostwort & Solar Vine[ | ]

Afterwards, return to the farmer and the player will be given Frostwort plants, which grow in an hour in real time. Plant them to advance forward and then return to the Farmer with the plant samples. Upon giving the harvested plant, the player will then be given the Solar Vine plant, which take 16 hours in real time to grow. Plant them to advance forward and then return to the Farmer with the plant samples.

Fungal Cluster & Gamma Weed[ | ]

The player will then next be given the Fungal Cluster plant and be asked to plant it. Fungal Clusters take four hours to grow in real time. Upon giving the harvested plant, the player will then be given the Gamma Weed plant. Plant it to advance forward and then return to the farmer with Gamma Root.

Gravitino Host, Albumen Pearl Orb & Venom Urchin[ | ]

The next unlocked plants are Gravitino Hosts, Albumen Pearl Orb, and Venom Urchin. Gravitino Hosts take two hours to grow in real time. Plant them to advance forward and then return to the Farmer with the plant samples.

Echinocactus & Star Bramble[ | ]

The next unlocked plant is Echinocactus, which takes 16 hours to grow in real time. Plant them to advance forward and then return to the Farmer with the plant samples. The next unlocked plant is Star Bramble, which takes four hours to grow in real time. Plant them to advance forward and then return to the Farmer with the plant samples.

Mordite Root[ | ]

The final unlocked plant is Mordite Root, which takes eight hours to grow in real time. After handing in the harvested Mordite, the mission will be complete.

The conclusion of Agricultural Research unlocks a repeatable mission from the Farmer, Additional Floral Samples, which allows the player to learn how to cultivate NipNip, the final plant.
