Vyskee-Ball[ | ]

  • Please contact nmskibbles before building a base on Alsto! The Hub staff would like to keep only minigame-bases in this system, but more contributions within that theme are always welcome.

Vyskee-Ball is the first location in the Galactic Hub where Interlopers can play a skee-ball based minigame! Interlopers play using a simplified rule set based on Cricket (darts) : better players get a numerically-higher score and take fewer shots to get all score options (buckets).

The Vyskee-Ball court is located at planetary coordinates +16.56, -124.93.

Scoring

A round consists of a total of 10 shots. The goal is to get the ball in each bucket in as few shots as possible. Getting the ball in the same bucket repeatedly doesn't add to your score. There are six total buckets - 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 100. The highest score a player can get is 10, and the bonuses are as follows regarding getting all six buckets:

  • 10 attempts -> 6
  • 9 attempts -> 7
  • 8 attempts -> 8
  • 7 attempts -> 9
  • 6 attempts -> 10

If you don't get all six buckets, your score is determined by how many buckets you made. For example, if you made buckets 10, 30 and 50 only, your score would be 3.

Game Reset

There is a button next to the Sphere Generator which will re-spawn the ball for you. Buttons can either be toggled manually or shot at. Once you are finished with the round, hit the reset button next to the score tracking lights to turn them off, essentially resetting the game.

There is a power switch on the opposite side of the platform that should ONLY be used in case there are issues with logic to toggle power off and back on. When you are finished playing, PLEASE reset the game for other Interlopers.

High Score Leaderboard

Uploading a video of your best score is required to settle possible disputes over high scores. The video must contain footage prior to you starting the round and include all 10 shots, unless you were able to get all 6 buckets in fewer shots.
