Analysis Visor Upgrade is a multi-tool upgrade.
Summary[ | ]
Analysis Visor Upgrades, contained within Scanner Modules, are procedurally generated upgrades granting bonuses to a Multi-tool's Analysis Visor and Scanner.
Upgrade properties[ | ]
Up to three Analysis Visor Upgrades can be installed in the inventory of a Multi-tool. Installing four or more upgrades will disable all upgrades of that type until the upgrade count is reduced to three or less.
Analysis Visor Upgrades grant at least one of the following bonuses:
Scan Radius: increases the scanning range of quick scan.- Flora Analysis Rewards: increases Units received from scanning flora.
- Fauna Analysis Rewards: increases Units received from scanning fauna.
- Mineral Analysis Rewards: increases Units received from scanning minerals.
The table shows the minimum and maximum values of the bonuses, while the number of bonuses indicates how many are granted randomly for each class.

Note that it is technically impossible due to limitations on how upgrades are seeded for X-Class upgrades to draw more than one stat at 10999%. The odds of getting even a single stat at 10999% is ~0.03%.

Analysis Visor Upgrades can only be obtained by opening Scanner Modules.
Analysis Visor Upgrade can be repaired using the following ingredients:

Installing[ | ]
Upgrade modules follow a static progression. The generation seed is used for all module families at the same time. During module installations it goes up by one. The new module they change into correlates to their order of installation. If the game is reloaded, the exact same pool will be offered to the player, no matter the order they install other modules.
Example: If an S-class module had 200 ly Hyperdrive Range bonus on the third installation no matter in what order the former modules are installed or their class, if the same S-class module is used third again, it will once again be the 200 ly bonus module even if the name changes. Only if used second or fourth the module stat may change.

- Upgrade bonuses trigger for Analysis Visor Upgrades if they are adjacent to Scanner, Waveform Recycler or each other, increasing their bonuses above listed values.
- Even though it is technically possible to extend scan radius by a considerable amount with multiple upgrades, the hard limit to the overall scan radius is currently confirmed to be at 750 u, regardless of the effects of other upgrades.
