These APS units can be used to turn virtually any technology into a self-navigating system. Highly valuable in power generation economies, where they're used to remove conductive organic hands from the manufacturing process.

Autonomous Positioning Unit can be purchased from Galactic Trade Terminals in all high-wealth Technology Economy star systems. It is also obtainable in some, but not all, medium-wealth systems with this Economy.
Usage
Autonomous Positioning Unit can be sold for a profit in any Power Generation Economy star system.
It is not usable by the player in Crafting or Base building.
