Bameran is an inhabited star system.

Bameran is a refinery star system on the Beta meridian at the end of the Beta Spiral in the Euclid galaxy. Its distance to Beta Polaris is 79ly! The system is a regional capital.
The system is under supervision of Conscript Higunlu who leads the station in the name of the Vy'keen High Command. Ensign Arnanch takes care of the main fleet proceedings while SalesGek Nenbin takes care of all economic and diplomatic matters. While the system does accept corruption as a sign of admiration and honor towards its rulers, there is little strife for power. The security is OUTSTANDING!
Aboard the space station the Vy'keen High Command offers upstanding members and visitors access to their botanic gardens and their extended libraries.

Somewhere between the anomaly N07E24-X20T18 and the phenomenon of B08E24-Y2O0N1D9 the police state slowly turned into a more organized military dictatorship and reconnected with the Vy'keen high command.
Higunlu still leads the station, but is now a conscript of the Vy'keen high command. Ensign Arnanch still outranks his peer and continues to command the local joint Vy'keen forces. The only victim of the change in political climate was Liquidator Owdzannash. After the system rejoined the high command the Vy'keen reopened relations with the Gek Trade Federations and the industrious SalesGek Nenbin took charge of the systems tradefleets and diplomatic negotiations. The former isolated system isn't that isolated anymore.
Under the new leadership of the Vy'keen High Command, the pearl of the Beta Spiral, Bameran Prime, saw its entire sentinel population devastated and fully conquered. Now Bameran serves as the High Commands primary system in the region. The greatest success for the system was the end of the sentinels and the B08E24-Y2O0N1D9 phenomenon left Bameran Prime's Pure Ferrite mines suddenly magnetised, increasing their value. Now the former famous garden world is not only pacified, but rich in rare resources. A golden age for Bameran begins, but new threats still loom.
Its newest enemy, however, is the unknown insectoid swarm that has taken root and possesion of the formerly dead world of Orys. Even the sentinels are on high alert there... something is afoot.
On Odman a new graveyard of ancient creatures was discovered. The Vy'keen don't really care for the history of Bameran, but the Gek might see profit in its exploitation.
