They are considered common spawns.

U. Mantidnuhosus, a Bosaquatica with large claws.

Bosaquatica species are easily recognizable.

  • Found underwater.
  • Share the same appearance and body parts as their terrestrial Bos and Conokinis cousins, but do not have floating or beetle-like variants.
    • Insectoid characteristics - often segmented legs or bodies, antennae
    • Four, six, or eight legs, sometimes hairs visible on legs
    • Some have crab/scorpion-like claws

Additional information[ | ]

Bosaquatica, while considered a separate genus by the game code, are not given a proper genus name. Instead, the game code refers to their genus as Unknown, a trait shared by several other unrelated genera. Bosaquatica" were formerly classified as a sub-type of the Bos genus, as they share most of the same body parts as their terrestrial cousins.

Bosaquatica are encountered more often in lakes and shallow coastal waters than offshore in deeper water. They seem to have a lower spawn rate than other aquatic genera and can despawn quickly, often making them a challenge to locate and scan.
