Budullangr is the 7th galaxy in the No Man's Sky universe.

Summary[edit | edit source]

It appears that most, if not all, players start here after reaching the centre of the Ickjamatew galaxy.

One of the first differences is that the galactic core is Green. This galaxy seems to have fewer lush planets, and a higher proportion of Desolate/Forsaken biomes.

Release history[edit | edit source]

  • Pathfinder: This galaxy was accessible only by reaching the center of the previous six galaxies.
  • Atlas Rises: This is now the first Abandoned Galaxy. It is also one of the galaxies (dark blue) available when finishing The Purge mission.
  • NEXT: Regions remained similar and retained their names.
  • Abyss: Regions remained similar and retained their names.
  • Visions: Regions remained similar and retained their names.

Research[edit | edit source]

This is Atlas Rises related info

Explorations from The New Hub Order, who works primarily at the core, have confirmed that exotic planets are everywhere and can be within any type of star system (Yellow, Green, Blue, Red); but also find Lush planets and moons rather regularly. It is easy to find an exotic planet to live on, but just as easy to find the already familiar biomes. One fun thing is the variety of star colors all within a close area; yellow stars may be the dominant type but it isn't hard to find all other star colors at the Budullangr core.
