Budullangr is the 7th galaxy in the No Man's Sky universe.

The Fade and Galaxy Centre are fundamental parts of every galaxy. In Budullangr, the centre appears to be green.

This galaxy can be reached by:

  • Warp travel - Players start here with a crashed ship after reaching the centre of the Ickjamatew galaxy.
  • Simulation reset - Players in Haffneyrin galaxy and in all the subsequent galaxies up to Ickjamatew, who choose to reset the simulation into a Empty galaxy during the New Beginnings primary mission, will start again in this galaxy.

Release history[edit | edit source]

  • Pathfinder: This galaxy was accessible only by reaching the centre of the previous six galaxies.
  • Atlas Rises: The New Beginnings mission allows direct travel to this galaxy from various galaxies.
  • NEXT: Regions remained similar and retained their names.
  • Abyss: Regions remained similar and retained their names.
  • Visions: Regions remained similar and retained their names.

Research[edit | edit source]

Note: This is Atlas Rises related information.

Explorations from The New Hub Order, who works primarily at the core, have confirmed that exotic planets are everywhere and can be within any type of star system (Yellow, Green, Blue, Red); but also find Lush planets and moons rather regularly. It is easy to find an exotic planet to live on, but just as easy to find the already familiar biomes. One fun thing is the variety of star colours all within a close area; yellow stars may be the dominant type but it isn't hard to find all other star colours at the Budullangr core.
