Char is a star system.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Char is a mining star system on the Alpha meridian at the end of the Alpha Spiral in the Euclid galaxy. Its distance to Alpha Polaris is 324ly!

The system is the local beacon of the Atlas and people can come here to speak with it, if it decides to entertain their requests for an audience. The sentinel armada protects the system and security is HIGH! However, its isolation at the end of the galaxy hurts the economy.

Aboard the space station the Korvax offer extensive recreation facilities for guests of the Atlas.

Planets & Moons[edit | edit source]

  • Char Prime is a desert world and the local trade hub.
  • Char 2 is a very dangerous scorched world. Its heat doesn't even dissipate during the night so that its lowest temperature is at day with 105.8°C. At night the temperature remains at a steady 107.1°C and sunstorms quickly boil any unprotected life with 318.2°C. Several wraith species survive in this enviroment and pockets of Radnox can be found.
