Chauda is a planet.

Summary[ | ]

Chauda is the lone planet in the HUB-V-FC Deer Prudence star system.

It is a hot, rocky world, but with pleasant nights. Regular resources, plenty of flora and fauna, low to medium population Vy'keen controlled, typical Sentinels. It has one moon, Toxilexx‎.

Details[ | ]

A hot world in the day, cool at night, Chauda is a rocky planet, peppered with plants and animals. The grounds are brown-red and tan-red. It is semi-mountainous, with craters abounding. There is water in the craters, a blue-grey color, but they are shallow lakes.

Half of the species on the planet are aggressive. Of particular note are the 4-meter 'Deerchickens', complete with antlers and attitude. The Crab creatures will hunt alone or in a group. The Dragonfly-winged Hawkcougar is also on the prowl. There are some species that live in the shallow lakes.

The caves, when one finds them, are ordinary. There typically won't be any fauna in them, so they are a safe haven when a hot storm is happening. They are also typically shallow in relation to the ground above.

One can find quite a few crater lakes on Chaudah, and in lieu of a cave or dug in position, the lake water offers a respite from the heat during the day and during a storm, at the expense of oxygen use of course.

Overall, if it didn't have as many creatures trying to attack, it would be a pleasant enough experience.

Resources[ | ]

The standards are there in a decent amount, fairly easily found. Fervidium is available here in plentiful quantities. Also Gold and Nickel can be found, usually as a large deposit.
