Walkthrough[edit | edit source]

Make contact with the Space Anomaly[edit | edit source]

With this mission set as the active mission, fly into space and Priest Entity Nada will contact the player through the communicator.

Priest Entity Nada

-{{ Traveller! Nada, initiating communication interface. Polo, suspended in dark / sadness. Shell impenetrable. Eheu! }}-
-{{ Extrapolation from structure photography. New directive proposed: subvert dark. Acquire images / hope. Traveller must seek life in dark. Dive to ocean floor, replicate aquatic sights, loop back to Anomaly. }}-

  • Accept

-{{ Transmitting dark planet co-ordinates. Deepest position: -10.53, -28.39. Request parameters: singular photograph, enclosing swarm of life. Nada pleasurably anticipates Traveller return. }}-

Visit the marked planet[edit | edit source]

A portal will be marked in the system where the player currently located. Due to it is a mission-related travel, the Portal Terminal will not require any recharge.

A chill runs through my body as I face the silent gateway.
It tugs at my mind with menacing persistence.
What 'dark place' is Nada sending me to?
  • Input Nada's Glyphs
  • Leave

Photograph an underwater swarm[edit | edit source]

After arriving to the other side of the portal, the mission objective will be updated, but the destination will not be indicated with an icon.

The player can use Analysis Visor to check for their current location in order to reach the coordinates given by Nada.

Using the Photo Mode is required and after successfully taking a picture of the swarm, the mission objective will be updated again.

Make contact with the Space Anomaly[edit | edit source]

The player will be contacted again through the communicator, after using the starship's scanner.

Priest Entity Nada

-{{ Familiar ship signature. Traveller, welcome. Aquatic photography success? }}-

  • Upload photographs

-{{ Directive complete! Nada, transmit image data to Polo. Value Polo joy. Success / trust. }}-
-{{ Traveller account, receiving currency. Mock-lifeform aboard Anomaly offers synthesised exotics. Dock? }}-

As Nada mentions Polo's robotic invention, their visor lights flicker subtly, in what I can't help but interpret as a facial expression. It passes so quickly, however, I question whether it was a [sic] just a glitch in the hologram.
  • End transmission

Visit Polo's robotic companion[edit | edit source]

The Space Anomaly will warp into the player's current system, allowing it to be boarded it.

The door behind the Control Panel is accessible, where Quicksilver Synthesis Companion resides.

After speaking with the merchant NPC the mission objective will be updated.

(Optional) Photograph underwater creatures on specific worlds[edit | edit source]

The broadcast is amplified and the signal zone extended throughout the galaxy, allowing to take photographs of underwater creatures on any planets.

On the Galactic Map water is indicated per system, therefore the player is required to warp into the system and use visual checking which planets have water.

The planets will require the following biomes with water present and they need to be visited in the following order twice. It is advised to visit the same planets the second time.

If you turn in partial results, the following conversation takes place.

Priest Entity Nada

-{{ Traveller return. Likely motivation: photographic data. Transmit yes / no? }}-

  • Upload photographs
  1. Nada thanks me, clapping their hands together in a convincing display of delight. They suggest that more data would further assist Polo's existential recovery.
  • End transmission
  1. -{{ Anomaly attentive. Traveller ship scan, Nada respond. }}-

After taking all 10 images, the data limit is reached and the mission objective will be updated.

Make contact with the Space Anomaly[edit | edit source]

The player will be contacted again through the communicator, after using the starship's scanner.

Priest Entity Nada

-{{ Final packets! Mission directive complete. Polo purpose recharged. Transmit yes / no? }}-

-{{ Purpose fulfilled. Limit achieved. Polo reconnected, joy / hope. Gratitude! }}-

Visit Polo's robotic companion[edit | edit source]
