Electromagnetic Generator is a base building product.

Electromagnetic Generator is a base building product that generates power from Electromagnetic Power Hotspots and does not need additional fuel to operate. It can be connected to various base building products with Electrical Wiring to supply power to them.
Game description[edit | edit source]
When suitably placed in an area of high field strength, efficient electromagnetic dynamos are used to generate near limitless power.

Power generation[edit | edit source]
An Electromagnetic Generator will output 150-300kP of power depending on the hotspot's potential. Hotspots can generate 150, 220, 250 and 300kP of power at C, B, A and S Potential respectively. However, the farther away from the hotspot, the less power generated.
Interacting with an Electromagnetic Generator displays power grid information, including total power currently generated by all connected generators; total power currently consumed by all connected base products; amount of power currently stored in all connected Batteries; and electromagnetic field strength, measured in V/m.
Additional information[edit | edit source]
Electromagnetic Generators do NOT work across bases. A hotspot must be within, or close to the boundaries of your base build limit to function properly. Generators which are part of a different base will show they are directing power, however, the one inside your other base will be un-powered.
