Ettun is a technology star system on the Beta meridian at the end of the Beta Spiral in the Euclid galaxy. Its distance to Beta Polaris is 55ly!
The system's government has been revamped to a military dictatorship after the loss of Chocaea. Vy'keen Scout Ratux leads the space station while Ensign Yablun and Scout Binnamg handle the military operations on the planets and in space. SalesGek Aforikisa is handling the system's trade relations and new exploitation of the two new planets. The system simply traded one extreme world for two new ones and the Vy'keen already cleared out any attempt of the sentinels to safeguard the two new worlds. The system is free to exploit, with the help of a heatshield or two.

As the lone supervisor of the space station, Vy'keen Guard Tourd did a commendable job. The entire system of Ettun remained an oasis of safety, if not prosperity. Under the strong and honorable leadership of the local police state piracy and delinquency was at an all time low. The security was OUTSTANDING! The isolated position of the system was to its detriment however. While the industry tried to get up from its feet, little resources made it here and the local resources were far and few between. Specialized in technology in a region full of manufacturies, it survived.
During the Atlassian birth cycle of OR23I09-GI20NS20 the system changed. Two new planets appeared in the distance, offering new ventures and exploitation. Yet the true change happened to Chocaea. The Vy'keen never shyed away from exploiting the burning hellhole, but once the biological horror infestation took hold even the stout Vy'keen had to retreat. Nowadays the planet lies abandoned, empty old structures telling a tale of fear and flight. The Vy'keen had purged this hellhole from sentinels only to lose it to a more natural plague that threatens the galaxy. Will it ever be reclaimed? For the police state this was the first crack in its reputation and it would soon collapse.
The civilian structure of balance and repression gave way to the old Vy'keen ways of merit and strength. Soon a new Vy'keen military government was established with Guard Tourd ousted from leadership atop the space station. Now a college of Vy'keen soldiers held sway over the station and planned the reconquest of Chocaea and the colonization of the new worlds, one among them a verdant juwel, a potential new prime, if it wasn't ridden by deadly hot storms. Regardless, unlike Chocaea it has no biological infestation and can still be exploited.
The Gek were quick to offer their support. New worlds meant new resources and wherever profit is to be made, a Gek is already two steps ahead of you. SalesGek Aforikisa will surely profit from this partnership, directing the civil trade while the Vy'keen handle the more annoying fights.
