A portable data unit, compatible with most planetary fabricator facilities.
Once access has been gained to a central control terminal, the Override Unit can divert the facilities resources towards researching new product recipes.

It can be gained as a reward from a mission from The Nexus.

It is not recommended to sell these, as the crafted products researched with this technology can get you much more money.
As of Endurance, 44 Factory Override Units are required to learn all recipes; 13 for components and devices, and 31 for Valuable products.
