Summary

Rakitsu is a star system in the No Man's Sky universe.

It is home to Trinity Base as well as being recorded in the journals of Steven Jay Wright as his birthplace. Qedal, a moon of Ussiusakaj Antoc, is a promising world with temperate weather, abundant flora, and a diverse ecosystem teeming with fauna. It is the site of Trinity Base. There are many Gek settlements and facilities in the system including a space station in orbit around Ussiusakaj Antoc.

Discovered

While the system has been occupied by Gek for an untold era, its recent discovery by PC explorer Steven Jay Wright on 2018.208 has invited new interest. Some would argue that he was not the discoverer, as his was the fate of awakening there with no recollection of the past. Still, he did communicate the information regarding many of its planets, moons and species to the the Galactic Encyclopedia of the Euclid galaxy.

Locating Rakitsu

Some say that a left-handed navigator from the fourth planet of Sojourn couldn't find their way to Rakitsu. At least it feels as though it's that far off the space lanes if you have to live there. One thing that can be said of the system; It's not the heart of the Euclid galaxy. Here's a tip. Try passing through The Arm of Ockaea without plotting a course. It's still highly unlikely that you'll find yourself anywhere close to Rakitsu.
