InExCor Dark Matter Research Institute is a player base.

Summary[ | ]

InExCor Dark Matter Research Institute is a player base, located on the planet Azel in the Inzaif system.

Azel is a Mega Exotic planet, Lost Red type. Although it has normal flora, during the day only red light is filtered through the atmosphere, and during night time it is complete pitch black with total absence of natural light. This being said it also has constant mild weather, low sentinel activity, and no predators, making it surprisingly suitable for colonization. These particular and very rare conditions pushed InExCor to build a Research Institute on site, aiming to catch exotic particles with no photons interference and to improve Solar Panels efficiency and energy management in forward exploration outposts stranded from civilization.

Layout[ | ]

The base is built on a floating island and the main building consists of a glass structure, where Solar Panels were disposed in order to catch the little light this planet has to offer. Only red lamps have been used to light the internal structure so as not to interfere with the scientific equipment. A Short-Range Teleporter located on the island edge connects to a small Underwater Facility built on the black sea below, where further scientific equipment is installed. A Nautilon Chamber allows further underwater exploration. Landing pads and main structure roof are provided with Signal Boosters beams to avoid collision during landing/take off.
