Planet Information[ | ]
Summary[ | ]
Gukarlevskios-Aep is a large-sized parched planet and desert paradise in the star system Kamaixingti on PC Version No Man's Sky universe. It is the capital planet of the Kamaixingti System. Personally, this is my all-time favorite planet. As of Update 1.20, this is now my FOREVER PLANET. I've explored over 250 planets (and counting) and there is NONE that's as unique and gives an impression of size and vastness as this one.
This is an extremely rare kind of planet because it has two trade commodities - Vortex Cubes and Albumen Pearls (hidden from planet scanner). While it lacks Rigogen and oceans, the abundance of Vortex Cubes and Albumen Pearls more than make up for it.
Geology[ | ]
Rolling plains and hills dominate the landscape, along with some really tall, scenic mountains. Giant rock formations, pits, craters and caves are everywhere. Combine all of that with the planet's large size, and it creates an impression of a really big and vast world unlike any other. It is best experienced in person, whether on foot or in an Exocraft.
The surface has a very nutrient-rich mix of red soil and dark red rock, allowing plant life to easily thrive despite the dry desert climate. Green grass and wildflowers cover most of the planet's surface, alongside tall trees and varieties of cacti.
Caves are abundant and can be found everywhere, whether by the hills, on a mountain's slope, even inside pits and craters on the ground. Stalactites can also be found growing on the surface. The abundance of caves allow the formation Emeril and Albumen Pearls, both found in large quantities. Most of the Emeril can be found inside or near caves, with a few large monoliths on the surface. Albumen Pearls can be found inside or near caves as well, either solo or in groups of 2-4 shells.
Atmosphere and Climate[ | ]
The planet has a pinkish-red atmosphere, tinged with a very nutrient-rich yellow haze, judging by the sheer number of Oxyacta flying in the air. Nighttime looks like late-afternoon due to Kamaixingti's bright green skybox.
A near-constant wind blows over the planet with varying strength; most of the time it's a gentle breeze. Storms occur twice a day - One during the day and another at night.
Daytime temperatures hover at a manageable 11.4C, plummeting down to a frigid -69.4C at night. When storms occur, temperatures soar to 86.6C.
Things to Do[ | ]
Gukarlevskios-Aep is a massive desert world that's best appreciated in person. The abundance of life, many caves, generally rolling terrain and plentiful Vortex Cubes and Albumen Pearls ensure that there is always something to do here.
Exploring the planet on foot is a mostly relaxing and scenic experience and is the a good way to feel the planet's size. The daily storm, occasional predator and lots of tempting Vortex Cubes and Albumen Pearls along the way lowers the relaxing on-foot experience slightly. Should you get bored, just pick up the cubes and pearls and get ready for some action. Add more challenge by doing it when there's a storm and a couple of predators nearby.
However, the best way to travel around is by Exocraft. The rugged terrain, tall mountains and giant rock formations make for an epic drive regardless of exocraft type. People who like Nomads and Rovers will have a blast driving on the planet's rolling and rugged terrain, as catching BIG air is quite easy. Just find a "ramp", get ready to jump and hold on tight! People who drive the Colossus will also have a good time here, as the challenging terrain will put their off-road skills to the test.
Life[ | ]
Plants and animals are in abundance. Most of the animals are friendly and docile, though predators come out at night to hunt for food. The planet is home to MASSIVE numbers of Oxyacta. When these things migrate, it's quite a sight, watching them play and have fun in the sky with total freedom to roam around this massive desert planet.

Name | Type | Note |
---|---|---|
Vortex Cube | Trade commodity | It's everywhere in this planet. |
Spadonium | Exotic elements | Unique to arid planets. |
Emeril | Neutral elements | Many caves = lots Emeril. |
Iridium | Neutral elements | I'd rather not destroy these here. It blends very well with the planet's redness. |
Heridium | Silicate elements | It sticks out as it's blue. It looks great when the Oxyacta flock to a deposit. |
Albumen Pearl | Trade commodity | Hidden from planet scanner. There are plenty of these near or inside caves. |
Racetrack[ | ]
Gukarlevskios-Aep has one racetrack, The Six Rocks of Fate. This is an extremely difficult and brutal racetrack that's designed to really test one's Exocraft driving skills.
You must be on PC and Survival Mode to challenge this course.
- Difficulty: BRUTAL
- Name: The Six Rocks of Fate
- Recommended Vehicle: Nomad only. Exocraft acceleration module (EAM), EAM Sigma and EAM Tau are REQUIRED.

Sugaikinovi Fringe Seat of Power[ | ]
GKL-Aep is a large desert planet blessed with great riches despite being a desert world. It is known in the region as the "Red Heaven". The entire planet is fully self-sufficient, having most, if not all of the resources needed to support life and a lot more. Very tight security and its status as the Sugaikinovi Fringe's (SKF) seat of power regulates overharvesting and exploitation of resources, allowing them to renew over time.
There are far fewer inhabitants here compared to the very populated extreme worlds Yihdistojene and Inshirishi Zapolo, mainly because most, if not all of the most powerful, most important and wealthiest people in the SKF lives here and governs the entire region, in addition to its extremely lucky native inhabitants.
Despite being the most resource-rich planet in the system and arguably in the entire region, the economic center of the system is at Compakask-Mepp Major, where people looking for riches are free to exploit its highly renewable resources.
Gukarlevskios-Aep Theory[ | ]
Scientists from the University of Aipinqen Goha speculate that when Xijiannanegzh was still a young star, Gukarlevskios-Aep (GKL-Aep) used to be one of its planets. An event along the way caused the planet to go rogue, eventually making its way into Kamaixingti. The reason for this is that the desert planets in Xijiannanegzh all have very similar characteristics to GKL-Aep, having rolling terrain, similar rock formations and sheer aesthetic beauty.
Evidence[ | ]
These are pictures of Gukarlevskios-Aep and the three desert planets from Xijiannanegzh. Notice how similar these planets are. All of them have similar geology, rock formations and awesome views.
