It is a member of the Conokinis genus, with one gender being a Lesser Mushroom Beetle.
Appearance[ | ]
Its bright purple color accents were initially believed to be used to warn off predators, but researchers have determined the coloration is used for camouflage instead. The bright purple patterns allow the species to blend in with its surroundings and attack at will.

Found on planet Ohamu 57/Y4, where they roamed both forest and grassland. This species lives communally in deep underground burrows, huddled to preserve warmth. They drag their prey deep into the earth before feeding. Well-adapted to the hunt but poorly-adapted to digestion, these carnivores will only feast upon the freshest of meat.
