Olmasa-Naz is a star system in No Man's Sky.
Summary[ | ]
Olmasa-Naz is an uncharted star system in the No Man's Sky universe.
It seems empty at first glance, having celestial bodies untouched and undiscovered by sentient life. But the more one explores, the more things are discovered. Judging by collected data, this system was in the past, a wealthy and peaceful high-tech economy inhabited by the Korvax.

Each celestial body has at least two waypoints - a crashed ship and a habitable base for legacy saves. The crashed ships all have the exact same dialogue. However, Sebaddo Utsus has three, having an additional shelter near the crash site.
The shacks in Sebaddo Utsus are in good condition, showing little signs of wear and tear. The interior is still intact and sorted. There is a crash site judging by the burnt ground but the ship is missing. It can be implied that the ship got dismantled to create the shelter. The fate of whoever used to live here will remain a mystery.
It can be implied that in the past, Olmasa-Naz was once a wealthy and peaceful high-tech economy. The approximate economy rating is 82, having a sell rating of 56% and a buy rating of -26%.

Flare Star[ | ]
Olmasa-Naz is a class M5 red dwarf. It is a hyperactive flare star that almost constantly erupts powerful and massive solar flares. This results in the star appearing as a large red giant in the galactic map. It has 3 planets, 1 moon and a relatively small habitable zone. The first planet, Ritanas Unkyo, is in the habitable zone. Its moon, Eccanit, occasionally shields portions of the planet from Olmasa-Naz's deadly solar flares. Sebaddo Utsus lies just outside the habitable zone. Meredes Major is the farthest planet.
The violent activity of the star is supposed to burn its planets to a crisp. But since all of them are quite massive in size, they have developed magnetic fields to protect against some of the impact. Of all the planets, Sebaddo Utsus has the largest and most powerful magnetic field, being the least affected of the three.
Discovery[ | ]
While the Eyfert Khannate is in the process of rebuilding itself, the leader and Khann Ezegnegch went on an exploration spree, fascinated by the changes brought by the universe-changing event. He discovered new kinds of star systems. Some are abandoned, as if its inhabitants either left in a hurry or got consumed by... something. Some are Uncharted systems, completely devoid of sentient life. For quite some time, Ezegnegch went on exploration missions during his breaks.
Eventually, he found this uncharted system in the nearby Ilbingew Band. At first, violent red dwarf aside, it seems like a rather ordinary system, having a toxic ocean planet and its nasty irradiated moon. Then he saw two other ocean planets on opposite ends. Deciding to save the best for last, he first headed for the one without the ring. When he landed, he was astounded by this new kind of planet he never seen before. It had an annoying yellow-orange tint, similar to some planets he saw in the past. But the supermassive seaweed and kelp-like plants got his attention. He explored the planet for some time and eventually left. He then warped to the ringed planet. Boy was he in for a surprise!
It is quite clear that the ringed planet was a lush world and he wasn't expecting much. Sure it had red lands, blue oceans and cyan skies but... Most, if not all lush planets he had explored had a serious PESTINIA PESTIS infestation. Until he landed. Initially he got rather annoyed by the superheated rainstorm that greeted him but once that was over, the planet revealed its true colors - an absolutely stunning lush paradise brimming with character. Beautiful red grass covered the land. Sprawling forests with massive and towering trees rose from the ground. Majestic lofty peaks and buttes towered over the plains, creating spectacular sights. Pristine beaches and clear oceans will make for some nice fun at the beach. And the rings, the view of the planet's rings was just breathtaking. But what really got to him - the Sentinels are... chillin' and having fun? This isn't right! Lush planets are supposed to have angry sentinels that want to destroy and kill, like the PESTINIA PESTIS pests they are! That is THE NORM! But here, they are just having a good time. Ezegnegch was at a loss for words. This needs to be the capital. However...
While he really wanted this lush planet to be the Eyfert Khannate's capital, he decided to let Rahaka Tau (replaced by Gloss X) be the capital instead. But he'll make sure that the people will recognize this lush planet, named Sebaddo Utsus, as the true de facto capital while Gloss X will be the one where most of the government and Federation related work will be done.
A red lush planet in a red star near a red region in a red galaxy... This must be a dream come true for someone who adores the color red.
A Mysterious System[ | ]
The more people spent time here, the more mysteries surfaced. Questions start being asked. The system is supposed to be devoid of any sentient life, so why are there rogue Korvax pirates occasionally popping in? Why are the citizens still able to buy, sell and trade with each other as if it was a normal system? How are people getting so rich so quickly here? After extensive study by a collaboration between scientists, religious masters and occult practitioners, they came up with possible theories and answers to some of the questions.
It was formerly a Korvax system judging by the occasional rogue Korvax pirate. Citizens trading with each other implies something unknown is still running the economy of the system. The citizens getting wealthy so quick implies the system was a high-wealth economy in the past. There is a noticeable absence of Buried Technology Modules. They had to source technology modules and various exotic resources such as Hex Cores and Hexite from the nearby system Xudingdi. So far, these are the answers the collaborators came up with. More will be revealed soon.
