Description[ | ]
Buffalli Rora is a blue and green planet circled by dark grey rings. From a distance the planet appears Earth-like, but the reality is that Buffalli Rora has a more even distribution of land and water than our Milky Way home does. The land is a series of rolling hills that are capped with green grass and ringed with yellow sand at their shores. Tree-topped plateaus float above the planet's surface, too high to reach via jetpack. The landmass is such that everything is an island, but some are large enough that flying over them or driving across them is preferable to walking. There are places, too, where the islands are so small and distant that flying or piloting a Nomad is preferable to swimming.
During optimal conditions the planet's skies are easy to navigate, but during the superheated rainstorms the plateaus and Tengovosa trees give pilots a slalom course. Temperatures range from 84.8°F/29.3°C during the day to 66.2°F/19°C at night, with the aforementioned superheated rainstorms reaching 230.5°F/110.28°C (hotter than boiling water!).
Points of Interest[ | ]
Only a few types of points of interest have been discovered on Buffalli Rora, and then only on the largest land masses. Discoveries include Operations Centres, Observatories, Drop Pods, and both inhabited and uninhabited Camps.
Patric Plateau[ | ]
Patric Plateau is an Operations Centre where its starship call station and the building structure are separated by a very tall cliff. To use the call station is to commit to a hike down out of and hike back up into the mountains.
