Ruwalis Akning is a planet in the star system Osukihamachiya on the PS4 version of No Man's Sky universe. The desert moon Arrakis orbits around Ruwalis Akning

Planet Description[ | ]
Despite lacking Fauna, Ruwalis Akning hosts beautiful plants and plains covered in gold and grey grass. Aside from sparse saddle-like rock formations and the occasional jutting spire, the planet is mostly flat. While water is not common on Ruwalis Akning, it is decorated with small ponds and lakes that are rarely deeper than the players height.
Atmosphere & Climate[ | ]
The skies of Ruwalis Akning start a faint blue during the sunset and slowly change to an orange that gets darker as the day progresses. During the night, the skies are dark red-orange. The other planets and even the local space station can be easily viewed from the planet's surface during the night and fade only slightly in the day. During both the day and night, the temperatures of Ruwalis Akning are never high or low enough to wear down on the exosuit's hazard protection. The hazard protection only drains due to low temperatures during the infrequent storms.
