Jonstone Castle Ruins is a player base.

Summary[ | ]

Jonstone Castle Ruins is a player base, located on the planet Marthos in The Independent Kingdoms system.

Layout[ | ]

The base is comprised of a single hollow tower that includes a non-functioning Appearance Modifier and Base Teleport Module within. The base is clearly incomplete as the exterior is missing several wall panels.

Features[ | ]

This base lacks any technological features and is mostly empty.

History[ | ]

The ruins served as the primary headquarters of Beta Expeditions, an exploration and documentation company which conducted expeditions within the Ehansh region. The site was primarily used as a staging ground to gather resources to prepare for trips to document the neighboring star systems of Agrincott and Qungmu.

The location was visited rarely after the expedition to the surrounding region was completed, leaving the ruins in further disrepair. Beta Expeditions would cease to exist by 2020, when its parent company, the Trailblazer Corporation declared bankruptcy. Since 2020, the site has been mostly abandoned.

Lore[ | ]

This section is Fan Fiction. The information found here is not an actual part of the released game, but a user-invented addition to the wiki.

The Jonstone Castle was originally a large hall used by a feudal serfdom which ruled all of planet Marthos. The ruling party was known as House Jonstone, a family which had controlled Marthos for ages. The Jonstones (a name given to members and residents within House Jonstone) were mainly located in a large city-state known as the Stone Kingdom. The castle was located atop a mountain range which overlooked the villages within this kingdom. After an intersystemic war between House Jonstone and feudal houses on the planets of Daezos, Ayceham, Acideus, and Volcanus, all Jonstone territory was destroyed - including the Jonstone Castle. The Jonstones were forced to relocate, and the ruins of the castle were abandoned. Rediscovered hundreds of years later by Trailblazer Corporation subsidiary Beta Expeditions, this ancient site has been restored and is used as the primary headquarters of the branch.
