CE3K Tribute Base is a player base, located on the planet Aquaspherical in the HUB10-1D-Castaway-Star system.
Layout[ | ]
It is a re-enactment of the hilltop alien landing scene at the finale of the 1977 film: Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Steven Spielberg's sci-fi classic was one of the first films to explore the concept of communicating successfully with an alien species.
The purpose of the base is primarily a fun tourist attraction to enjoy. A base to "Stop and Be Friendly" as you explore the Euclid galaxy of No Man's Sky.
It is marked by a beacon, a number of Communications Stations and a Nomad Geobay.
Inspired by First Conversation with the ETs complete with music board, stadium lighting, landing pad, and surrounding buildings.

Directly below the base in the water you'll find some of the best diving in Aybess Terminus. Aquaspheres and a variety of aquatic life populate the warm waters of Aquaspherical. You'll also find an abundance of Marrow Bulb. On the hill directly above the base you'll find the red spinning variety of Vortex Cubes.
