T. Starengica is a creature.
Summary[ | ]
T. Starengica is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is a member of the Mogara genus. The T. Starengica is a very peaceful creature and enjoys socializing, although they have been mostly found in just small groups of two or three of their own species. Their diet is mostly conventional, as they roam the green grassy plains of planet Daimler in search of flora to eat, but they also love the scent of NipNip Buds, and will even eat the buds themselves.
Appearance[ | ]
The T. Starengica stand at about two meters tall, and have the face and body most similar to a Gek. standing upright with "arms" which are like a Sea turtle's flippers. They also have relatively large dark brown ears and their defining characteristic which are feathers which frame their face, and flippers. Their feathers are brown in color, with plum undertones, as are most of their body except their face and belly which are an olive green. They also have a very small tail.
Gender Dimorphism[ | ]
The T. Starengica have two genders, Asymptotic and None. They are both very similar except for one difference, the Asymptotic gender have large wings which very closely resemble those of a June bug, which the None gender does not have. The wings of the T. Starengica never have been seen to open, and is unknown if they can, or if they purely act as a shell. The wings or shell are the same color as their feathers, a brownish color or plum, and have a large olive green "O" shape on each side of the wings.

The T. Starengica is named "Winslow" after Ephraim Winslow, a character from the 2019 movie "The Lighthouse" which starred Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson.

Discovery Menu[ | ]
Found primarily on the grassy planet Ajawusch. They appear to be peaceful creatures, happily socialising both within their species and without. Their diet is largely conventional, consisting largely of local flora. But the scent of Nip Nip drives them to a frenzy, and they will gorge upon its buds.
