Gain’s Folly is a ringed planet orbiting a yellow star in the HUB1-21 TopOfTheTree3 system. A liquid core drives major tectonic activity on the planet, resulting in tall, steep mountains and deep valleys across the surface. Despite high levels of toxicity and a lack of any apparent liquid water, the planet hosts a diverse ecosystem, with a variety of giant fungus species forming the base of the food chain, multiple species of herbivore subsisting on the fungus, and a single predator species, the Canis Exitio.
