The Galactic Cup is a player-organized event.

Summary[ | ]

The Sentinel Ball: 2019 Galactic Cup is a variation of the World Cup with a touch of No Man’s Sky to it in which civilizations and hubs compete.

  • This event takes place at the Galactic Frontier Hub on NORMAL Mode.

Sentinel Soccer[ | ]

Sentinel Ball is a soccer-like sport that replaces the soccer ball with the can-like object dropped from sentinels upon killing them. It is a much more simplified version of soccer.

Rules[ | ]

Failure to abide by these rules results in a foul in which the opposing team gains a point.

  • No positions - There are no specific positions such as goalkeepers or defenders.
  • No modifications that enhance your performance in the game.
  • No hate speech among other players.
  • No use of weaponry. You may melee other players.

Mechanics[ | ]

  • Players may show up and represent a hub or civilization of their choice.
  • Event spans 3 days
    • There will be 3 games per day
      • 3 PC games on Day One
      • 3 Xbox Games on Day Two
      • 3 PS4 Games on Day Three
  • The tournament winner will be based on each team's total score
    • The total score will be the difference of points in each game added up
      • Example: You win your first game by 2 points and your second game you lose by 1 point. Your total score would be them added together or 1. (2-1=1) Team with the highest score wins!

The event will take place from July 23 to July 25th in 2019.
