Galactic Hub Eissentam is Civilized space community.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Official in-game flag of the Galactic Hub Eissentam.

Galactic Hub Eissentam is an expansion of the Galactic Hub Project community into the 10th galaxy, Eissentam.

After the Atlas Rises update, data mining has revealed that Eissentam has twice as many lush planets as Euclid. This makes it a desirable destination for some players, particularly those on Survival or Permadeath.

Galactic Hub Eissentam, also known as GH Eissentam or the EHub, is located at the same coordinates as the Galactic Hub in Euclid, but in the 10th galaxy (the "Tranquil" galaxy).

With 85+ players registered as members, Galactic Hub Eissentam is home to one of the largest population of players in the galaxy.

The civilization occupies 27 regions, located approximately 672,000 light-years from the Center of Eissentam.

This small area of space offers players the opportunity to meet other players, visit bases, share discoveries, and more. See “Benefits” section for more details.

Galactic Hub policy encourages players to remain in the Euclid galaxy (first/default galaxy), but it is ultimately each player’s decision. Galactic Hub extension civilizations exist to provide as similar of an experience as possible in the post-Euclid galaxies.

Interloper Census[edit | edit source]

Upon reaching the Galactic Hub Eissentam, the first thing you should do is sign up for the Interloper Census, for the following reasons:

  • Gives the Galactic Hub staff an accurate idea of the size of the civilization.
  • Allows other players to more easily locate your home base, and what game mode it's on (however, you can omit that info if you don't want a lot of visitors).
  • Allows people to check which platform you're on (can be useful if you post something on the Subreddit, for example, and they're wondering if it's on PC or PS4).

Benefits[edit | edit source]

  • Documentation - Clearly locate desirable ships, multi-tools, freighters, and technology; fascinating flora and fauna; useful resources; and much more. Contribute with the knowledge that you're part of a semi-scientific community and helping other Interlopers..
  • Multiplayer Elements - Due to its high population, the Galactic Hub is the #1 location for multiplayer interactions, whether that means seeing other players bases, a variety of Communications Stations, or just frequently coming across discovered systems. Community Farms allow players easy access to valuable and/or useful resources. We also have various purposefully-planned multiplayer events, like the Portal Party.
  • Community - The community extends beyond the in-game multiplayer elements. Our community has created over 500 wiki pages, has 6,000+ Subreddit subscribers, a variety of resources (see "3rd Party Tools" section), and even a Redbubble shop for Galactic Hub merchandise. More importantly than just the features, the Galactic Hub community are friendly, often very experienced Interlopers. We ask that new players do some basic research, but we're always willing to help anyone who needs it.

Naming Convention[edit | edit source]

The Galactic Hub uses specific naming guidelines in-game. Names created using these guidelines mark the system as Galactic Hub space, and can share a variety of important information in a small number of characters. Such names can be very useful to other Interlopers.

See Galactic Hub Naming Guidelines.

Navigating to & Living in the Galactic Hub[edit | edit source]

See Interloper's Handbook - Guide to the Galactic Hub for a guide on how to reach the Hub, how to contribute to the Hub, customs of Hub life, and more.

Third Party Tools / Related Websites[edit | edit source]

  • GH Discord our main diiscord server allows all Hub players to easily chat in a less "structured" environment than the Subreddit.
  • GHEIS Discord our Eissentam Hub discord server allows us to communicate regarding day to day operations within the Eissentam HUB Division.
  • Seamonkey420's Wiki Script allows players to create Wiki pages for the Galactic Hub just by answering some questions, then uploading necessary images.

New Atlantis Ground .jpg New Atlantis
(Default: New Noysankte)
HUB5-11C Hesperides Capital Colony
Golden valleys separated by innumerable mountain ranges define the surface of the EHub capital. Though densely populated by Eissentam standards, New Atlantis' population is quite small compared to its Euclid counterpart, and maintains an aesthetic of rural simplicity as a result. Many players settling here choose to place their bases at the peaks of mountains, or on the edges of cliffs, resulting in some eye-catching landmarks for an interloper on the move.

Galactic Hub Star League[edit | edit source]

Galactic Hub Star League The Galactic Hub Star League is the Hub's sponsored simulation sports organization, which allows players from any Federation or Hubble civilization to compete against each other. A variety of custom-built bases have been created for the Star League, such as racetracks and PVP arenas. See the linked page for more information.

Galactic Hub Defense Force[edit | edit source]

Galactic Hub Defense Force The GHDF is the combined domestic police and military force for the Galactic Hub civilization. The GHDF was formally established on May 24, 2018. The GHDF's primary domestic responsibility is patrolling busy systems and responding to any distress calls. In the context of the GHDF, distress calls are, essentially, messages from human players saying, "Help, I'm being attacked at (coordinates)!"

Galactic Hub citizens can issue distress calls on the discord server, on the trades and services channel. The instructions on how to do so, will be on the pinned message on that channel.

Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps[edit | edit source]

Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps The GHEC is an official research subdivision of the Galactic Hub Project dedicated to exploration, discovery, and documentation of Fauna.

The mission of the Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps (GHEC) is to:

  • Discover rare and exotic fauna, and as many common species as practical, within the borders of the Galactic Hub.
  • To gather the necessary information (screenshots, coordinates, spawn information, etc) for proper wiki documentation on behalf of the Galactic Hub.
  • To share such discoveries and documentation with the citizens of the Galactic Hub for their enjoyment and use.

Naming Guidelines for all fauna in EISHUB should follow the following convention: "Custom Name (Procedural Name)" when custom-naming fauna, or upload the species without renaming it.

Galactic Hub Geological Surveyors[edit | edit source]

Galactic Hub Geological Surveyors The GHGS is an official research subdivision of the Galactic Hub Project dedicated to exploring, discovering and recording geo-hotspots and any other notable geological landforms or Terrain Archetypes. Scouting for potential colonies and helping with the development of new colonies are also duties performed by the GHGS.

The mission of the Galactic Hub Geological Surveyors (GHGS) is to:

  • Discover S and A class geo-hotspots within the borders of the Galactic Hub
  • To gather the necessary information (coordinates, nearby geo-hotspots, nearby points of interest, etc) for proper documentation
  • To scout potential colony locations and help with the development of new colonies via surveys that provide key geo-hotspot locations, helping to provide key locations and resources for builds, and assist with R&D and management of colonies.
  • Discover notable geological features within the borders of the Galactic Hub
  • To share such discoveries and documentation with the citizens of the Galactic Hub for their enjoyment and use.

Galactic Hub Ship Hunters[edit | edit source]

Galactic Hub Ship Hunters The GHSH is the official vessel research subdivision of the Galactic Hub Project dedicated to exploration, discovery, and documentation of Starships, Freighters, and Multi-tools.

The mission of the Galactic Hub Ship Hunters (GHSH) is to:

  • Discover Starships, Freighters, and Multi-tools within the borders of the Galactic Hub.
  • To gather the necessary information (screenshots, vessel names, coordinates, spawn information, etc) for proper wiki documentation on the appropriate page
  • To share such discoveries and documentation with the citizens of the Galactic Hub for their enjoyment and use via NMSGalacticHub on Reddit, the Discord server, Twitter, and whatever other methods the Galactic Hub Council sees fit to implement.

Alliances & Subfactions[edit | edit source]

Emblem for the Federation.

(Refer to Civilized space page for more info)

United Federation of Travelers[edit | edit source]

The Galactic Hub is a founding civilization in the United Federation of Travelers, and all of our extension civilizations are either Federation members or planning on membership in the future.

We assist and cooperate with all civilizations, but will always prioritize fellow Federation civilizations. Historically, we have a close alliance with No Man's Sky Love and the Deep Thought Collective.

Galactic Hub Civilizations in Other Galaxies[edit | edit source]

See main Galactic Hub page for more info.

Galactic Hub Council[edit | edit source]

The Galactic Hub Council is a group of players formed with the intention of advising the Hub's founder on how to manage the Galactic Hub, new policies, new events, and more.

The Council's first primary purpose was to help organize our move from Rentocniijik Expanse / Rentocnii Conflux into our current home region.

For a full list of Council members, see the "Staff" section.

The Eissentam Collective[edit | edit source]

A loosely affiliated civilization formed by a group of independently wealthy farmers, explorers and base construction specialists who built bases in the Atlas-era huburbs (mostly HUB10 and HUB14) during the last days before NEXT.

Members of the EC originally met on Reddit, just after the great reset and later, decided to continue to maintain a presence in the old Eissentam HUB. The Atlas-era HUB is approximately 12,000 ly away from the NEXT-era HUB. The EC considers itself a sub-culture of the new HUB.
