Hiverfell Sub-Orbital Station is a player base, located on the Planet Hiverfell in the AGT Firstfall system.

This base is located in an Alliance of Galactic Travellers Star system. The base is located at latitude/longitude 178.04, 25.44.

The station was commissioned by the Alliance of Galactic Travellers to provide improved communication and control facilities for the Yihelli Quadrant, in preparation for the civilisation's colonisation of that region and the associated increase in passenger and cargo traffic along already congested shipping routes.

The station provides accommodation for one operator and is powered by a state of the art self-sustaining solar power grid, designed and supplied exclusively for the site by Lakelehaz Research Laboratories, a member of the AGT Infrastructure Subsidiary Partnership. It has landing facilities for two ships. It boasts a panoramic outlook over Cradle Peak and the Hiverfell Tradeport trading post below it, with viewing at sunrise particularly recommended.

Any travellers wishing to visit the Hiverfell Sub-Orbital Station are advised to seek the appropriate permit from the Korvax area commander in the system's space station.

Freefall Prize[ | ]

AGT Traveller himshielandgaming was the first person to record a high altitude freefall from the station shortly after it opened. Following this, the Alliance of Galactic Travellers made a prize of 200m units available to the first interloper who could successfully complete a high altitude freefall from the Hiverfell Sub-Orbital Station and land on the platform at Hiverfell Tradeport without mortal injury - and provide video evidence to that effect.

That prize was successfully claimed on AGT Stardate 3734.18.10 1150 (October 18th 2018) by [[AGT tra MisterElbows72. His freefall was recorded and is documented in the video links.
