An Interstellar Space Route is a specified star trail.
Summary[ | ]
An Interstellar Space Route or Space Route is a trail of stars discovered acting as a route between two or more points of interest or civilizations. After NEXT, they also utilized Black Hole transport to cover longer distances, vastly reducing the travel time.

After many of the former space routes fell into disrepair due to military conflicts during Atlas Rises, the Explorers Alliance renewed the usage of space routes under the Federation. See The Great Highway for more information. This was made possible due to extensive Black Hole Research by r/NMSBlackHoleSuns. New Black Hole functionality allows players to cover massive distances by warping through black holes.
