Jiyoti IX is a planet in the Egarxin XI star system on the PS4 version of No Man's Sky universe.
It would be a traveler's paradise, where it not for the neverending rain on Jiyoti IX. The constant showers will occasionally escalate into superheated storms where the temperature can rise to well over 100 degree F, scalding the skin. The abundant fauna have adapted to this and nearly all species will have thickened skin or thick fur to minimize the external burn of the rain during these brief storms.
