Land Disruptor is a grenade technology upgrade that uses plasma shells. If used recklessly, this grenade tool can also increase the player's wanted level.
It has at least two upgrade levels.
This was made redundant by the Terrain Manipulator and is no longer part of the game.

Excavation tool that operates through the distribution of remotely charged plasma shells. Careless use can result in disrupted alien ecosystems, Sentinel attention, and damage to the user.

Land Disruptor cannot be crafted.

Uses[ | ]
Land Disruptors can be used to create craters in the ground and bore holes in and out of caves. It is handy for use on planets like Balari V (pre-release) where the surface is extremely cold and there are warm underground caves that provide protection. Like most crafted upgrades, it can be dismantled to regain resources or an expansion slot.
