Li Shipek is a star system.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Li Shipek is a refinery star system on the outer rim of the Delta Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy.

The system is under control of the Vasho Ascendancy and supervised by Hireling Sog. As one of the few local refineries, the system is a hotspot for pirates and while the Vasho Ascendancy sends its fleet to protect local traders, most of them are decidedly Gek. Foreigners cannot expect their protection and are advised to stay clear. This however lowers its potential revenue to a mediocre level. The general security assessment is LOW!

Aboard the space station respected trade partners have the chance to access the local archives or to acquire some biofuel in the station's greenhouse. A refill of precious nanites and a small reimbursement for the trouble of visiting this troubled system is also included as a customer service. Reports of mind altering properties are vastly exaggerated.

Planets & Moons[edit | edit source]

  • Li Shipek Prime is a stable and bountiful world. While it is rich in green, it lacks most majestic flora, mostly littered with smaller bushes. It serves as the system's trade hub, but does not forego the anomaly's strange character. Like most lush worlds, Li Shipek Prime is not subject to cold or nasty rain, but acidic in nature. In this peculiar case, storms can reach up to 99.6 Hammett; a rather rare and dangerous amount for a lush world. Its fauna has adapted to its climate and travellers are advised to do the same. ((Outdated info since update!))
  • Li Shipek 2 is a radiated wasteland. It is unclear what transpired here, but the diverse mutagenic fauna hints at an ancient problem. It is the most diverse planet in the system, covering familiar and also rather unique species of the anomaly on its surface, including bipedal sentients. Its basic gamma and beta radiation already reaches 10.9 Rad during the day, but instantly reaches 32 Rad when the lingering particles shedding alpha radiation are stirred by violent storms... which are rather common here. Any unwary traveller or worse crash pilot visiting Li Shipek 2 WILL die.
  • Nu Vomon is the most distant planet of the system. It is a warm planet of over 30°C, but it pays a price for the greenhouse atmosphere that allowed it to thrive in the distance. A constant alkaline mist lingers over the world, reaching a base strenght of 60.2 Hammett. It is advised to either fill up on Titanium on a station beforehand or to avoid this dead world entirely. Nothing but ore and disfigured plants awaits.
