Living Slime (Jn) is a resource and one of the junk special elements.

Game description[edit | edit source]

A heavy, oozing slime. It is moving gently, as if it has a heartbeat of its own.

Nutrient source: unknown.

Source[edit | edit source]

Living Slime can be purchased and sold at Galactic Trade Terminals and NPCs for a profit.

Living Slime will sometimes be dropped when killing fauna on Exotic planets.

Living Slime can be refined using a Refiner with the following ingredients:

Through multiple steps of refining, Residual Goop can be converted to Viscous Fluids, to Living Slime, to Runaway Mould and then to Nanite Cluster.

Living Slime is not used as an ingredient for crafting.

  • With its purple colour and description as "living", Living Slime bears a strong resemblance to S.L.I.M.E, (Surface-Living Intelligent Multiplying Endolith), from Alienology, (Candlewick Press, 2010).
