Loem is a barren, rocky planet with almost no atmosphere and almost no features. The landscape is remarkably smooth with occasional lumps that count as hills. Everything is gray and cracked. Small rocks are strewn about, as are Gravitino Orbs. The caves that exist are long and tubular, but not very interesting. The sky is a perpetual dark purple field that is dotted with stars and nebulae. There is no weather on Loem. The temperature creeps slowly from a daytime high of 87.1°F/30.6°C to a night low of -2.8°F/-19.3°C. While the environment never employs Hazard Protections, it drains Life Support faster than on planets that have atmospheres.
The sentinels on Loem are threatening. Every time that a Mining Beam is fired they investigate. Firing a mining beam while they watch or overharvesting resources will trigger a level 1 response. Harvesting a Gravitino Ball will trigger a level 3 response.
