N. Liverfetae is a creature.

Summary[edit | edit source]

N. Liverfetae is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.

It is a flat-back member of the Theroma genus. At a towering height of 7.9m tall and extremely broad, it is nicknamed "Platon", meaning wide or broad-shouldered. In ancient Athens, the philosopher Plato (born Aristocles) was given this nickname likely due to his robust figure, and potentially also "the breadth of his eloquence".

Both genders are equipped with differing horns and armored bodies for defense. Platon is a peaceful and introspective creature, focusing its thought more on the conceptual than the brutely physical. Highly intelligent, it prefers the contemplative and philosophical life, and avoids the unending conflict among the contrastingly tiny fauna on its planet. However, when provoked it will unleash an efficient and thunderous responsive attack.

Alias names[edit | edit source]

All Original: N. Liverfetae
PS4 Current: Platon (N. Liverfetae)

Discovery Menu Description[edit | edit source]

Discovered on the sun-battered surface of planet Inne VI. Poor sensory systems leave this typically passive creature unable to perceive much of the external world. However, brain scans reveal a deep, rich inner life. Sharp sense and sharper claws allow them to tunnel swiftly through the earth in search of the tubers that form the bulk of their diet.

Location[edit | edit source]

It can be found on the planet Inne VI in the HUB7-15 Estuks star system.
