Neptia is a planet in No Man's Sky.
Summary[ | ]
Neptia is a planet in the Tahond-Viagr XIV star system, which is located in the Aslees Boundary region of the Eissentam galaxy on the PS4 version of No Man's Sky universe.
Description[ | ]
Neptia is a giant ball of grass covered over by high atmospheric haze. It's the sort of haze that doesn't hinder your visibility on the ground, but that filters the sunlight so it always feels like near-twilight. The planet has three main elevations which are divided by steep walls of earth. There is ground level, there are mesa tops, and there are valleys. The elevation changes are so drastic that jetpacks aren't always adequate to travel up them. Valley bottoms are usually filled with a heavier haze than the other elevations. During normal weather, temperatures on Neptia vary from a daytime high of 70.4°F/21.3°C to a nighttime low of 57.1°F/13.9°C. At least once a day the planet receives terrible superheated rainstorms which push the heat to 214.6°F/101.4°C and thus trigger the Exosuit's hazard protection. There are an adequate number of caves and shelters that with upgraded Hazard Protection the planet is safe to walk.
