Noyade IX is one of the many procedurally-generated planets in the world of No Man's Sky before the change of the generation seed.
Summary
Noyade IX is a planet primarily covered in reddish water. Though there are various aquatic lifeforms on the planet, the extent of their presence is unknown at this time. This planet was first shown in the Unveiling the Gameplay of No Man's Sky video.
Etymology
Origin of Noyade: French, from noyer to drown, from Late Latin necare, from Latin, to kill, from nec-, nex violent death.
Definition of Noyade: an execution by drowning, a mass drowning.
