Photon Park is a player base.
Summary[ | ]
Photon Park is a player base for NMS player Syn1334. It is located in the HUB1-X-15D Wentworth system, on the planet Riokaya Yauzant.
Photon Park is vaguely inspired by rave culture, with a specific focus on lighting and vibrant colors. The base is purely aesthetic, containing no crops or racetrack.
Most of Photon Park is best viewed at night, in the shadow of a freighter (freighters cast shadows even at night). This maximizes the darkness at the base, making the colored lights as vibrant as possible.
The base is comprised of: the "face of Photon Park"; concentric circles of rainbow-colored lighting (or as close as possible in NMS); and the main tower, a structure with spiraling infrastructure triangles covered in lights, designed to reflect a different color on each triangle, with biologically-inspired infrastructure tendrils extending from the top. Lanterns also float high above the base, meant to simulate fireflies or paper lanterns, such as those commonly seen at Chinese festivals.
Location[ | ]
HUB1-X-15D Wentworth is located in the lower "tree" / "organized" portion of the Shungka Void.
