Point Owdene Research Station is a player base located on the northern shore of Owdene Lake, on the planet Glor. The lake is part of a larger body of waterways and connects to a series of underwater caves and grottos. Travelers with curious minds will find much to explore. The lake is home to at least two aquatic genus of fauna: the Ictaloris Z. Articavirii and the Prionace I. Aamphibiskhaium. The lake bottom is covered with K. Brankatikium, which yields both Kelp Sac and a calming scent. A well-guarded Depot is located across the lake to the south, for those looking to skirmish with Sentinels.

The Research Station was built as a means to further explore the local topography. It is a compact base designed to look pleasing in the setting and to offer a view of the lake. Its south-facing side offers floor-to-ceiling views of Owdene Lake and an elevated Landing Pad to welcome travelers. Across the main room are additional floor-to-ceiling views that look upon a water-bottomed canyon and a dock equipped with a Nomad Geobay. The interior is lightly decorated with scientific equipment. Alongside of the main room is a tower. Each floor of the tower possesses a utility to travelers. The ground level houses a Base Teleport Module, the middle level has a couple of NipNip Buds plants, and the top level has a Galactic Trade Terminal as well as connection to the Landing Pad.
