R. Bigmiposia is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is a member of the Rangifae genus.
Appearance[ | ]
R. Bigmiposia is a small diplo with purple, orange, and green tones. The Vectorized gender has an elongated hammerhead and purple beard, with spikes along its neck echoing the head's shape. The Unknown gender has a large beak and flowy purple sail along its neck.
This is the smallest and darkest colored diplo of the three diplos found on its home planet. (The other two diplos on this planet are Nous (G. Dasyemlium) and Thumos (X. Weedskipum)). R. Bigmiposia is nicknamed "Epithumia" or desire/appetites, after that aspect of Plato's tripartite soul in the Republic. We act on epithumia when our driving force in action is an appetite not influenced by reasoning about what is best for us overall.

First discovered roaming the plant-filled landscapes of planet Apleyak Y32. They seem aware of the constant danger in which they live, always scanning the horizon for new threats. They root through the undergrowth in search of food, chewing at the heads of ripe grasses.
