Sasageid Band is a region.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Sasageid Band is a region in the Rerasmutul galaxy of No Man's Sky. It is located approximately 3700 light years away from The Arm of Pobelar. It is a tree/cloud region, having two distinct sections - a lower tree and an upper cloud. The region has a high number of stars spread over a sizeable area. But because of the high density of yellow stars compared to other colors, it seems to be somewhat desolate and a bit devoid of stars at first glance.

Though the region is discovered in the NEXT update, it is pretty much the same in the Abyss update, though with the following changes:

  • Systems with water planets are indicated by "Water" in the Galactic Map.
  • Planets and moons within the systems are the same, though those the underwater of planets with water get significant improvements. Land terrain, fauna and flora remain the same though some scientific names have changed.

Most of the region is covered by a faint and subtle orange-red gas cloud, something that is quite a rarity. A dark mass can be found just a little outside The Tufalom. Nearby regions also have unique gas clouds, as this particular area of space (which includes The Arm of Pobelar) has regions that have their own unique glowing gas cloud.

While the region may seem chaotic and disorganized at first, a closer look reveals four distinct areas. The lower tree is amorphous in shape. The upper cloud has 3 distinct areas that branch out from the center. This makes navigation relatively easy. Thus, there are 5 areas: The Tufalom (lower tree), Ilbin Arm, Nabsville, Lastry's Crossway and Joelri District (all upper cloud).

Discovered systems[edit | edit source]

Star systems with a (number / total) indicates the presence of lush planets/moons. The first number is the amount of lush planets/moons with relaxed sentinels in Survival Mode while the second number is the total number of lush planets in the system. A number with a plus indicates relaxed sentinels and storm-free weather.

Lush planets with relaxed sentinels in Survival Mode: 11 / 35

The Tufalom[edit | edit source]

The lower tree area. Its name comes from the regions Lomote and the Tufanoc Shallows, both located below the tree. Most of the citizens live here. A mysterious dark mass lingers right next to it.

Ilbin Arm[edit | edit source]

A section of the upper cloud with extremely tight security (extremely tight is putting it lightly), as it leads to a very highly protected (still putting it lightly) region where only a selected few can visit, regardless of wealth, status or power. The Eyfert Khannate's main police and military headquarters are located here.

Nabsville[edit | edit source]

The very center of the cloud, containing the capital and the main business district.

Lastry's Crossway[edit | edit source]

An area of the cloud where four regions converge - This one, Ecaval, Oynekar Cluster and The Arm of Geschiba. The Eyfert Khannate's main shipyard is located here, in the Stlastry system.

Joelri District[edit | edit source]

An area of the cloud with a high concentration of wealthy systems. The wealthy, elite and powerful live here.

Civilized Space[edit | edit source]

This region is home to the Eyfert Khannate.
