Shrine is a player base.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Shrine is a player base on Jibo Alpha, HUB1-1F5 Mila in the Galactic Hub.

Although its true purpose is unknown, passing travelers have historically stopped here to pay respects to the unseen eldritch forces said to keep a hungry watch on the empty voids between stars.

Shrine was created primarily for its aesthetic value and to practice a new style of base building, but also serves as a base building reference tool: every color of every Stabilised Reality Glitch can be found in this base.

Note that Shrine is in the same system as official Galactic Hub colony, Interloper Island on Axby Delta.

Features[edit | edit source]

Additional information[edit | edit source]

Shrine is the first full base created in 7101334's signature "non-Euclidean architecture" style, the first elements of which can be seen in Photon Park from the Atlas Rises era. Non-Euclidean architecture makes use of triangle infrastructure pieces placed in an erratic fashion to create organic shapes meant to simulate both lifelike and traditional building structure forms. Symmetry is viewed as unimportant or secondary in this style. "Non-Euclidean" comes from the inspiration for the style being drawn from H.P. Lovecraft and other scifi-horror elements.
