An efficient power generator, this solar array will turn sunlight into the electrical energy required to power many base structures.
Generates no power at night. Partner with Batteries to store energy for the hours of darkness.

Power generation[edit | edit source]
A Solar Panel will output 25kPs of power in the morning and then peak at 50kPs (outputs) during the day. At night, a Solar Panel outputs 0kP of power due to insufficient light. Solar Panels are best paired with Batteries to store excess power during the day, in order to supply power while Solar Panels are offline at night.
Interacting with a Solar Panel displays power grid information, including total power currently generated by all connected generators; total power currently consumed by all connected base products; amount of power currently stored in all connected Batteries; and amount of daytime/nighttime remaining.
Using in a cuboid built base will act as though the entire cuboid is connected even without wiring. Useful for a sleek and hidden power set.
