Weather Prevalence on Hazards[edit source]

A little list to collect. I think the current tables on these pages are incomplete. So let's see if some extreme types actually are "calm" as well.Thamalandis (talk) 00:03, 7 October 2018 (UTC)

  • Combustible Dust
    • 25-30 minutes... no storm.
  • Inferno Winds
    • 2 minutes until storm, repeatedly!
    • 6 minute duration.
    • +208°C at day.
    • +212°C at night.
  • Self-Igniting Storms
    • Storm after 18 minutes.

I've noticed this since around... Update 1.59 maybe, or around the time people complained (way) too much about lush planet superheated rainstorms. Most of the extreme worlds got nerfed for some reason across all biomes. I've been in several and most of them don't have storms at all. And the ones that do have storms last shorter than I remember. Meanwhile, those I call near-extreme (weather in red text but not activated copper, cadmium, emeril, iridium) have long-lasting (around 3-5mins) and near-constant storms. I do have problems finding storms on some to mark them down for records, but normally if they aren't marked as "no weather" and thus calm they do have storms. But yeah their frequency in "normal" is definetly reduced I think. Maybe survival still has normal timers, but that makes researching records harder. If the damn thing is red - or even EXTREME - I demand one storm per day at least...Thamalandis (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
Inferno Winds are pretty aggressive. Might be one of the worst weathers.Thamalandis (talk) 18:14, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
