Talk:Death

"If the player's ship explodes or is destroyed in any way, it is lost forever, not being recoverable, and the player is given a life pod on respawn." - This is not correct. When you die in space, you respawn with your ship (newly purchased or base life pod). You do not loose it. Will change if no one has issue with this change. Aeshec (talk) 08:19, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Response[edit source]

If you make the change, be sure to indicate WHERE the respawn will take place, and if you retain your inventory. Ddfairchild (talk) 15:31, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Additional[edit source]

It looks like it's already been covered in Starship#Starship_destruction. I'm going to link to that until a better Death page can be written that contains information on Graves, etc. I think what should be covered in the article should include...

  • A basic description of the Grave Mechanic
  • Details on how locations of Death will affect spawn location, Grave contents, and any damage that might occur for repair
    • On Land (first since player first starts journey here
      • Spawn Location
      • Grave Contents
      • Damages
    • In atmosphere in ship (can't get something to blow me up in atmosphere to test this, inputs?)
      • Spawn Location
      • Grave Contents
      • Damages
    • In space
      • Spawn Location
      • Grave Contents
      • Damages

Any inputs on this order or content? Thanks Aeshec (talk) 22:52, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
