The entry is just as old as the update DDF. With the databank in disarray due to overpopulation (by 2500%) it is hard to judge what did and did not change. But yes regions didn't, and it seems when the DB finally gets a ping through to a player, even old names for systems load (Delta Polaris). And yes some planets retained name and biotope (Educerin in Delta Polaris). I am not sure if the other things are PU's or actual new planet changes until the DB of the game works again though, as mentioned in the comments. Courtesy of living near the Fade and the damn PU phenomenon. I actually think I even saw the same ship types (same type of space battle freighters). So MAYBE we need to recall some of the ships from the catalogue you removed. Thamalandis (talk) 00:42, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- I will admit I've wondered about ships and the like. I feel pretty confident that not rebuilding the galaxy pages is the right thing this time around. As far as starships go, my thoughts are that if someone discovers Starship S23 and enters that name to create a new page and it's already OUT there from Atlas Rises, the original page will pop up. At that point, they can modify the page if necessary, and make sure it shows up on the NEXT index page. I'll keep watch out for such events and treat each one as an individual case. But if worst comes to worst and we find many duplicate starships, we could probably rebuild with what is now on the Atlas pages. We shall see! Ddfairchild (talk) 04:51, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
