Growthrate[edit source]

Gorla's two support tests show 1-1-3-1 and 1-2-1-2 which has ZERO correlation but had all side stats the same. Now yes its a saveedit so that is the problem to make them a neutral observation. My ingame test STILL have a correlation between one stat during level up all the time. So while there might be no guarantee a certain substat levels a certain stat, MAYBE frigates are static and you know their "specialization" during level up if you buy a 0-3 expedition one and can dumb it fast if an unwanted stat is raised. I need to level my Lv 3 in 7 expeditions to see that. Lucky many got -duration perks on level up, still takes forever.Thamalandis (talk) 17:45, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Level up?[edit source]

Not only do we have an odd hole between 15-25 when all later is 5 level more, I found a pre-trained frigate with +14 base stats due to that. With a level up in 20 it would be +8 and seem normal in base stats. Are we SURE there is no level up on 20?Thamalandis (talk) 16:35, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Frigate Classes[edit source]

So, anybody care for a Frigate Class System? So far, I've observed five unique types of Frigates, although I only know the details for four of them. The first one is usually designated for COMBAT, (it's the one from the scrambled image we saw in Waking Titan), second is the EXPLORATION type, it has a large rotating wheel out front, like some small Freighters, third is the INDUSTRIAL, this one can often be confused with the fourth one I know of, although the key difference here is that the INDUSTRIAL type looks like a Freighter with cargo canisters, but they are hung vertically, fourth is the SUPPORT type, these ones are especially useful, as their mission stats are usually balanced fairly well, even at C-Class, these look similar to the INDUSTRIAL type, but with horizontal cargo canisters, much like some small Freighters. The last one I don't exactly know just what it is, but I could guess that it would be designated for TRADING, it's appearance is rather curvy, often seen with several forward pointing antenna, and has what looks like a large circular wheel in the center of the ship, (although, unlike the EXPLORATION type, this one doesn't move), the TRADING Frigate also seems to only have two landing pads, (instead of the four used on all the others), which are positioned at the rear of the ship. So, that being said, what do ya'll reckon we should class these new fangled Frigates as? Rockatoa, Brickticks (talk) 23:55, 26 July 2018 (UTC) out!

If they only have 1 model for each class... boom you got yourself your classes. Name them after their job. Industrial, Exploration, Trading etc. Due to the exploration server issues, I limit my play to Delta Polaris... so I can't help here yet.Thamalandis (talk) 23:58, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
I was thinking something a little more, I don't know, creative than that. I was thinking something like Warhead-Class/Vindicator-Class or something like that for the COMBAT one, maybe Counsular-Class/Praxeum-Class, (no, that's not a reference to Praxeum spaceport), for the EXPLORATION type, Corvette-Class/Union-Class for the TRADING type, maybe Syndicate-Class/Contingency-Class for the SUPPORT type, and Rigger-Class/Dredger-Class for the INDUSTRIAL type. Anyways, that's what I would do, I got those names primarily from Wookieepedia, so don't expect too much, I not really good at naming things. Hope you like those ideas! The longer and more exotic the name, the less likely people are to adopt it. I tend to agree with Thamalandis that you use a short name that describes what they do. Then there is no question what model you're talking about. Now if it turns off that there is a variation within a particular class, then additional names could be considered. But for me, I like using their "what-they-do" name. Ddfairchild (talk) 22:17, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Alright, In that case..... Exploration-Class, Combat-Class, Support-Class, Trading-Class, and Industrial-Class it is then! Rockatoa, Brickticks (talk) 22:31, 27 July 2018 (UTC) out!
You can still be fancy... Combat could also be called a Warfrigate. The point is to stay close to their actual role with the name. Trade Frigate / War Frigate etc. Thamalandis (talk) 22:45, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Alright, I guess I'll just let you guys decide then, after all, I'm no good at names. Brickticks (talk) 23:34, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

I must admit I'm curious as to whether there are five types of frigates or only four. The picture I added earlier today distinctly shows only four types (and the article it was with also said four). Where is the information for that fifth type coming from? Thanks! Ddfairchild (talk) 04:06, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

The fifth one is the Industrial Specialist. It differs from the Support Specialist in that the Support Specialist, (seen in the upper left hand corner), has Cargo Canisters that lay horizontally, whereas the Industrial Specialist has Cargo Canisters that stand straight up, vertically. The Industrial Class the only one not seen in the picture. It can be a little difficult to tell apart from the Support Specialist at a distance, but upon answering the Frigate Frequency Call and choosing Insect Frigate, you will see there is a difference. The Support Specialist is a bit longer too, due to it's horizontal Cargo Canisters. Hope that helps, and try a Gek System, I personally like to pair Frigates with the Race that seems best suited for their use, (i.e. Korvax for Exploration, top right, Vy'keen for Combat, bottom right, Gek for Trader, bottom left, etc.). thanks for the clarifications. Would you add a caption to the picture of the four frigates indicating which one is which? Ddfairchild (talk) 00:15, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do, but I will admit, I've never tried adding a caption to an image, so we'll just have to see how this goes. Rockatoa, Brickticks out! Brickticks (talk) 00:41, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

And back to original subject, Frigate Classes anybody? I could try to find some Class names on my own, but I don't really think I'm that good at it...... Anyways, if ya'll can think of better names for Frigate Classes than I can, please, let me know, because I've got Random-Noun-Naming-Block. It's like writers block, but it's for naming random nouns, people, places, or things.... I need to see my doctor about that, I think it's that new med he gave me, but I could be wrong. Anyways, yeah, Frigate Classes, any ideas? I'm all ears. Rockatoa, Brickticks (talk) 21:52, 11 September 2018 (UTC) out!

Call me dull and boring, but I don't really see a need to create names for frigate classes just to create names. I think they are fairly well defined by the jobs they do and that's sufficient in my book. Ddfairchild (talk) 21:57, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
