Rules for Linking=[edit source]
Are we linking to only the first instance of a linkable item? I'm specifically pointing to nanite clusters. I feel like there has to be a point when we stop linking every word that has a page, or we link every word that has a page associated with it. Thoughts from someone more invested in this wiki than me?Crackerjax1809 (talk) 03:02, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- Correct you are. As a general rule, only the first reference to a specific item on a page is given a link. So for the Nanite Clusters, only the first one gets noted. The rest are left as-is.
- Now there are exceptions - for example, I generally consider the items in the infobox to be complete in and of themselves. So I would still mark the first reference to the region in the article itself with a link, even though it's already linked in the infobox.Ddfairchild (talk) 05:21, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
